Well after watching my girls get swept in the Finals I am definitely heartbroken. But I am very proud of that team. They worked their asses off all season with a short bench and then took themselves into the playoffs with an even shorter bench. We will get it next year!

But at the same time I have to give props to Detroit. They came in and knew exactly what they had to do and they did it. Congrats to them. They had their own issues this season and got past them and won a championship. And TAJ!!! Glad to see her get a ring! However…. next season its VJ & Beckys turn!!

And you know, after watching Tweety all season (as I have her entire career) she never ceases to amaze me. That woman is an amazing baller and an amazing athlete! Jeeeez can she even be stopped??? And when the hell is Katie Smith retiring? LOL!
So on to the off season……..

I think there will be a lot of player movement this upcoming off season and probably more draft day action then there was this past draft day. I dont think the draft will be as deep as it was this past season.

Parker’s Team

And what about Parker winning the ROY and MVP! I must say I was happier with her winning it than other people, but still thought Sophia or Becky deserved it more. Whalen was my overall pick but whats done is done.

So now that Parker has been chosen MVP, does this mean the Sparks are officially HER team now? And is Lisa Leslie going to be comfortable being in MVP Parker’s shadow now?
